Authors publishing in Nutrient Cycling and Climate Change are required to transfer copyright of their article to the Society of Plant & Environmental Scientists (SOPES). This transfer ensures the widest possible protection and dissemination of the work under copyright laws, while still allowing authors to retain certain rights as outlined below.

- Obtain signatures from all authors.
- Scan the signed form.
- Upload the scanned copy during manuscript submission or send to the editorial office upon acceptance.
