The Society of Plant & Environmental Scientists (SOPES)
The Society of Plant & Environmental Scientists (SOPES) is a non-profit and non-government organization REGISTERED under ACT, XXI OF 1860 in Pakistan. This society has been established to provide a platform to plant scientists, agronomists, soil scientists, environmental scientists and climate experts. The SOPES contributes to the development in plant, environment and its allied sciences at national and international level.
The society works to provide platform for young members to organize workshops, conferences, seminars and symposia to create awareness for issues related to plant and environment and their strategic research-based solutions. The society publishes this journal Nutrient Cycling and Climate Change to communicate the recent developments in plant and environmental sciences for national and international community. The SOPES fosters to bridge the gaps for close co-operation among, plant, soil and environmental sciences and allied disciplines.
