Publication Ethics
COPE MemberThe journal holds publication ethics as a core value. We employ a rigorous double‑blind peer‑review process to validate the integrity and novelty of research. Our policies are designed to prevent misconduct, ensure fairness, and maintain the highest standards of scientific publishing.
All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism, data fabrication, and ethical compliance. We require authors to adhere to the responsibilities outlined below.
- Submitted work must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- All co‑authors must have significantly contributed and approve the final version.
- Authors must provide accurate data, including raw datasets if requested (in line with our Data Verification Policy).
- Any conflict of interest, financial or personal, must be declared.
- Proper acknowledgment of sources and permissions for third‑party content is required.
- If errors are found post‑publication, authors must promptly notify the editor and cooperate in issuing corrections.
- Reviewers evaluate manuscripts objectively, based on intellectual content, without bias regarding origin, gender, or beliefs.
- Any conflict of interest must be reported to the editor before accepting the review.
- Reviews should be constructive, respectful, and completed within the agreed time.
- All manuscripts are confidential; reviewers must not share or use the work before publication.
- Suspicions of ethical breaches (plagiarism, data manipulation) must be reported to the editor.
- Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, without discrimination.
- They ensure a fair and rigorous peer‑review process, maintaining confidentiality.
- Editors have no conflict of interest with submitted work; if such arises, they delegate handling to another board member.
- Publication decisions are based on review reports and journal policies, not on personal gain.
- Allegations of misconduct are investigated following COPE workflows.
As part of our ethics framework, the journal may request raw data, metadata, and analytical protocols to verify reproducibility. This aligns with our Data Authenticity Verification Policy, strengthening confidence in published research. Authors are expected to retain data for at least five years and deposit them in public repositories whenever feasible.
- All submissions are screened with iThenticate / Turnitin. Plagiarism (including self‑plagiarism) leads to immediate rejection.
- If misconduct is suspected post‑publication, an investigation will be conducted confidentially. If confirmed, a retraction or correction will be issued.
- Retraction notices are clearly linked to the original article and comply with COPE retraction guidelines.
